Always hypnotic, always surprising: since 2004 Santospirito has performed his slashingly beautiful and compelling guitar improvisations, as well as piano and synthesiser performances, at hundreds of concerts in Australia and Europe from underground gigs to major festivals such as Dark MOFO and Wide Open Space. A multi-instrumentalist Joshua also performs on piano, synths and drums in a wide variety of performance settings, as well as being a composer for theatre and film both individually and with Bing/Santospirito.

He has also worked with a wide range of artists and music groups over the years and composed music for dance, theatre and film such as Keia McGrady’s dance performance Charcoal in 2024.
