Natalya Bing (Violin, piano, drums) teamed up with Joshua Santospirito (guitar, synths, drums, piano) in 2020 to create epic and strange improvised music, often combined with film or live performance. They’ve performed at festivals such Dark MOFO, The Unconformity, venues such Hobart’s Theatre Royal as well as toured across Australia.
Their first album The Quoll was recorded live at St Davids Cathedral for Mona Foma 2021 with Randal Muir on pipe organ and was released out on vinyl/digital through Scratch Match Records. In June 2023 their EP Music for Opera #1 was released on bandcamp.
They created the score for theatre plays ‘A Mouthful of C Words’ and ‘The Line’.
